Xàbia – Coll de Garga
1. Briefing
The first few kilometers are easy, with a minor climb after reaching Pedreguer at km 24, leading toward the town of Llosa de Camatxo.
You will then ride along quiet roads with a few short climbs before tackling the second challenge of the route, Coll de Garga. While this climb doesn’t present significant difficulties, its length can be demanding if approached too quickly. After reaching the summit, you’ll enjoy a long descent on well-paved roads toward Orba.
The return route is smooth, with no major climbs.
2. CLimbs
A winding 6 km stretch with an average gradient of 6.5%, featuring sections that reach up to 8%. This rural road is almost traffic-free and well-paved, offering a peaceful ride 💛. At the summit, there’s a charming restaurant that’s well worth a stop—at least for a well-earned coffee 🍰☕️.
3. Traffic
You can expect some traffic during the first and last 8 km of the route.
4. Road Quality
The road quality is excellent throughout the entire route.
