Denia – Xàbia
1. Briefing
Embark on a nice ride along one of the region’s most stunning coastlines, departing from Denia and venturing towards Xàbia.
Begin your ride with a gentle climb that separates Denia and Xàbia. Once in Xàbia, enjoy a flat ride along the picturesque bay before tackling the next challenge.
Ascend through a Mediterranean forest 🌴🌴 to reach Cap de la Nao, where you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea, featuring dramatic cliffs and turquoise waters 🌞👌.
Descend back towards Xàbia, where you’ll encounter the final and most challenging climb of the circuit. The effort is well worth the stunning vistas that await.
2. CLimbs
Scenic ride featuring three short climbs that reach a maximum altitude of 211 meters.
👉 The initial climb begins shortly after departing, offering a manageable challenge with potential traffic.
👉 The second climb (kilometer 15) is also relatively short and straightforward.
👉 The third climb (kilometer 34) presents the most significant challenge, with steep sections reaching 20% 🚴🏽♂️⚡️. However, the lack of traffic and the breathtaking views make it well worth the effort.
3. Traffic
Be prepared for potential traffic, especially when passing through the towns of Denia and Xàbia, particularly during the summer months. The climbs typically have less traffic.
4. Road Quality
The road quality is excellent throughout the entire route.
