Denia – Pego
1. Briefing
Start with a 20-kilometer ride along the coast of Denia, passing through the La Marjal de Pego-Oliva Natural Park, where local rice cultivation continues to thrive. As you venture inland towards Rafol d’Almunia, experience the tranquility of the rural roads, making this a perfect route for cyclists seeking a peaceful and scenic journey.
2. CLimbs
Relatively easy ride with a single minor climb at kilometer 23. The well-maintained rural road will lead you to the highest point at 172 meters, offering a brief challenge before returning to the more level terrain.
3. Traffic
Expect heavier traffic during the initial kilometers. However, the congestion will ease significantly after kilometer 23, just before you begin the sole climb of the route.
4. Road Quality
The road quality is excellent throughout the entire circuit.
