Calp – Garga
1. Briefing
At km 15, after crossing the village of Benissa, you’ll start your first climb of the day; Bernia. A long, easy ascent with beautiful landscapes and very few traffic. Once on top, it’s a long descent to the village of Xaló.
You’ll again start to climb at km 55 when you hit the Coll de Garga. While it may seem not very difficult, its length may get you into trouble if you start off too fast. Be careful to reserve energy for your final climb of the day 🦵🔋.
Once at the summit of Coll de Garga, you’ll have plenty of time to recover on the long descent on a nicely paved road.
